Source West Africa, an apparel industry brand supported by the USAID West Africa Trade Hub, is pleased to invite stakeholders to “Design, Cut, Sew and Sell,” a three-day export training Nov. 19-21, 2012, at the Hotel Tiama in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The goal of the training is to technically equip and promote the Ivorian apparel industry and initiate Public Private Partnerships.

The training will feature Apparel experts and consultants from the Hub who will address the following issues:

• Export opportunities
• Cost system and production cost control
• Critical path and timeline when setting up a factory
• Defining strategy of factories and export culture
• Marketing and merchandising
• Preparing cash flow and calculating working capital needed
• Production and quality
• Sampling and design
• Visit to manufacturing factories
